AT&T Gateway is booting or reconnecting after a power loss
The coax/DSL/Ethernet line from AT&T Internet is loose or damaged

The firmware is mid-update or corrupted
The power adapter is weak or failing
Try this first
Wait up to 10 minutes — a blinking orange light during startup is normal
Check and reseat the cable from the wall into the AT&T Gateway
Power-cycle: unplug the AT&T Gateway for 30 seconds, then plug it back in
Check AT&T Internet outage status online or in the Smart Home Manager app app
Press and hold the reset button (pinhole reset for 10 seconds) if the light keeps blinking
Contact AT&T Internet support — the gateway may need reprovisioning
